U.S. NATIONAL ROSARY PLGRIMAGE AND OTHER NATIONAL PILGRIMAGES FROM AROUND

SUNDAY, JULY 01:
ATTEND THE INTERNATIONAL MASS OF LOURDES WHERE ALL NATIONAL PILGRIMAGES COME
TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE THIS GLORIOUS MASS WITH EXCEPTIONAL MUSIC. LUNCH.
HALF-DAY SCENIC EXCURSION INTO THE PYRENEES TO GAVARNIE, DEPARTING AT
1:30PM. THE VILLAGE OF GAVARNIE WAS THE LAST VILLAGE IN FRANCE IN THE
MIDDLE AGES ON THE OLD ROUTE TO THE TOMB OF ST. JAMES AT SANTIAGO DE
COMPOSTELLA. THE CIRQUE GAVARNIE IS THE MOST FAMOUS PLACE IN THE PYRENEES
AND IS HOME TO THE HIGHEST WATERFALL IN EUROPE. ALONG THE VERY BEAUTIFUL
ROUTE TO GAVARNIE, YOU WILL SEE MANY PLACES OF INTEREST THAT WILL BE
EXPLAINED TO YOU BY OUR GUIDE. THERE WILL BE A TWO HOUR VISIT IN GAVARNIE
WHICH WILL ALLOW YOU TIME TO TAKE A WALK ALONG THE RIVER TO SEE THE
WATERFALL, OR TO THE STATUE OF OUR LADY OF THE SNOWS, SHOP IN THE CRAFT
SHOPS OR PERFUMERY AND ENJOY A LOCAL CAFÉ. RETURN TO LOURDES IN TIME FOR
DINNER. EVENING FREE.
MONDAY, JULY 02
BREAKFAST. ROSARY, MASS. SHORT ORIETATION TOUR OF THE DOMAIN. TIME TO ENTER
THE BATHS (MIRACULOUS WATERS) OF LOURDES. BATHS ARE OPEN DAILY
9:00AM-11:00AM AND 2:30PM – 4:00PM. LUNCH. AFTERNOON PENANCE SERVICE AND
SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION, FOLLOWED BY BLESSING OF THE SICK AND
BENEDICTION. DINNER. EVENING FREE.
TUESDAY, JULY 03
BREAKFAST AND MASS OF THE ANOINTING. IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING MASS GATHER FOR
GROUP PICTURE.REMAINDER OF MORNING FREE TO ENTER BATHS, FOR PRIVATE
DEVOTIONS OR TO EXPLORE THE UPPER AND LOWER TOWNS OF LOURDES WITH THEIR MANY
SHOPS, MUSEUMS AND CAFES. LUNCH. AFTERNOON: FOR THOSE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE, A
WALKING TOUR OF LOURDES WILL BE SCHEDULED. VISITING THE PLACES ASSOCIATED
WITH THE LIFE OF ST. BERNADETTE: THE BOLY MILL WHERE ST. BERNADETTE WAS
BORN, THE LOCADE MILL, RESIDENCE OF HER PARENTS AFTER 1864, THE “CACHOT,”
FORMERLY USED AS A JAIL WHERE SHE LIVED AT THE TIME OF THE APPARITIONS, THE
HOSPITAL AND CHAPEL WHERE ST. BERNADETTE RECEIVED HER FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
AND THE PARISH CHURCH, CONTAINING THE BAPTISMAL FONT WHERE BERNADETTE WAS
BAPTIZED. DINNER. PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENING TORCHLIGHT PROCESSION.

THE PYRENEAN MUSEUM WHICH PRESENTS A SYNTHESIS OF THE POPULAR ARTS AND
TRADITIONS OF THE PYRENEES. THE OLD CASTLE CHAPEL CONTAINS THE XVIII CENTURY
ALTARS AND THE ORNAMENTS TAKEN FROM THE OLD PARISH CHURCH OF LOURDES.

GENERAL
INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
RATES INCLUDE:
Economy Class Air Transportation, Hotel accommodations based on two persons
sharing twin bedded room with bath/shower. All meals: Breakfast, lunch, and
dinner. Guided visit of Nevers – Convent of St. Guildard, Guided tour of
Lourdes, Guided Visit to Gavarnie, optional day trip to St. Jean de Luz,
tips for dining room, tips for guides, sanctuary registration fee,
transfers, porterage. Rate based on a minimum of 25 participants.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are traveling alone and want a roommate, we will do
our best to arrange double occupancy; if double occupancy is not available,
a surcharge will be imposed. If you prefer a single, please advise and we
will bill you accordingly. Single room supplement is $375.00. Single rooms
are very limited and are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Again,
Early Reservations are recommended.

NOT INCLUDED:
Cost of passport, Visa Fees (where applicable), strictly personal items,
laundry, wines, beverages not on table d'hôte, optional excursion to St.
Jean de Luz, all that is not mentioned in “Rate Includes.”
RESERVATIONS: Reservations should be
accompanied by a deposit of $400.00 per person due no later than March 20,
2012 with final payment due no later than MAY 15, 2012. Final documents and
tickets will be sent approximately two weeks prior to departure. Due to new
airline regulations regarding group air fares, reservations must be received
at least 90 days prior to departure. Reservations received after this
date are confirmed on the basis of space availability and may be subject to
a late fee of $50.00. Early reservations recommended
CANCELLATIONS AND WITHDRAWALS:
ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED IN WRITING.
FEES: CANCELLATIONS RECEIVED 95 or
more days prior to departure - $175.00; 94 - 45days $300.00; 44 - 30 days
50%; within 30 days of departure 85% of the Tour price. **CANCELLATION
INSURANCE IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
FINAL PAYMENT:
Final payment for this Pilgrimage is due no later than May 15, 2012.
Failure to make your final payment by this date may result in the
cancellation of your reservation and the forfeiture of your deposit. In
addition to the above cancellation fees, once issued, airline tickets are
non-refundable. Again, Traveler’s Insurance is strongly recommended. **AND
FORMS WILL BE SENT TO YOU UPON RECEIPT OF YOUR DEPOSIT** Refund
requests received within six weeks of departure will be processed after the
pilgrimage is completed. Claims for refunds must be sent in within thirty
(30) days after completion of the tour.
MEDICAL FORMS: Each participant of the U.S.
National Lourdes Pilgrimage must complete a short medical form, which will
be mailed to you. If you are in good health, you need only indicate this on
the form with your signature. MEDICAL FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED
AND RETURNED TO US NO LATER THEN MAY 1, 2011.
